Hoping for the best(Open to all)

[Joseph Scott]

Joseph pulled up outside of the Hopsital and ran around to the side that Craig was on. He reached in and picked Craig up the best he could and ran into the Hospital. "Please I need some help a friend of my sister was shot please help him." A doctor ran over with a stretcher and they placed Craig on it and wheeled him into surgery.

[Craig Dice]

{Fast forward two and a half hours later}

Doctor.MJ. Stobbert walked into the waiting area, towards Joe and Winter.
"Excuse me, are you the two whom brought Craig Dice in?" He was a rather small stumpy fellow with thick rimmed spectackes outlining his emerald eyes.

[Winter Scott]

Winter had been pacing in the Waiting room. She hated waiting rooms but that was because she hated waiting for anything espeically new that her boyfriend was hurt. She turned when someone said something to her. "Yes we are" she said pointing to herself and Joe. How is he, is he going to be okay?" She asked him.

[Craig Dice]

"Well, we had to rush Craig into Emergency surgery as you already know!" He pushed his glasses further up his nose then continued to speak. "During surgery we encountered a few problems we hadn't expected. Craig lost alot of blood and also the gunshot damaged some vital tissue around his shoulder that lead towards some of his main nerves. We patched him up as best we could but unfortunatley he fell into a coma." He then filled them in on the details about comas. Finally he ended with, "I think it best If you see Craig. Remember the more you speak to him the more likely he is to awaken!"

[Winter Scott]

She felt her world crashing down and she numbly nodded her head. She looked at Joe and knew he felt a little uneasy being there because he wasn't exactly Craig's friend. "You should get your cheek checked out." She said and hugged him and then walked with the doctor to Craig's room. She saw him lying in the bed and she let a few tears fall down her cheeks. She walked over and slipped her hand into his. "Craig's Craig sweetie its me please if you can hear me squeeze my hand." She said she hoped he would but no movement. "Ok but I am going to be here for you every step of the way. I don't care I am not leaving yourside for anything." She said. She rested her head on his chest and looked up at his face hoping for him to wake up.

Melodie went to the hospital every day to give flowers to the patients. The doctors and nurses thought it was very kind of her. She was kind person most of the time but she was really doing this out of guilt because she lived where her mother and sister didn't.

Melodie walked to room to room handing out flowers. She ran her fingers through her long black hair as she placed a bouquet of red roses on a patient's side table. She moved along to the next room seeing a young girl. She knew who the girl was. It was Winter Scott. A person couldn't mistake a Scott. Melodie hadn't talk to anyone since the accident. She did but not much. She was growing out of that. She need to return to life. She grabbed a bouquet of lilies. She was going to leave some flowers for the boy. She didn't know who he was. He wasn't from the east side.

Melodie slowly made her move over to Winter and mystery boy. She stood slight behind Winter. She cleared her throat to let Winter know she was there. She was finding Winter's behavior terribly romantic. She smiled for awhile.

"Do you think he would like lilies?" asked Melodie in calm and smooth voice. She had a nice sounding voice to go with her looks. She was beautiful in a different way from Winter. Melodie had an European beauty about her. Winter was an American beauty.

[Winter Scott]

Winter jumped slightly and turned hoping that it wasn't Joseph but she Saw Melodie. She was one of the sweet girls at Copperside High that came from the East Side. "Yea I think he would like that." She said. "This is Craig by the way Craig Dice but you can't tell anyone about well this..." She said pointing to their entwined hands. "No one in the two would understand at least not my brother Joseph. This is very sweet what you are doing." She said. She turned to Craig. "I just want him to wake up and open those goregous eyes I know he has." She said a few tears slipping down her cheeks. She wiped at them with her other hand. "What brings you to the Hospital?" She asked.

[Shannon Rutherford]

Shannon walked into the hospital."I came as soon as I heard."She cuddled Winter lightly."I'm so sorry.But I know he'll pull through"

She hugged Shannon back. "He did it for me. He risked his life because Someone was going to shoot me. I don't want to loose him Shannon I can't loose him." She said breaking down into tear hugging her. "He has so much in life that he has to do I can't loose him. "It happened at the park the guy walked over to me and touched me and Craig placed himself into harms way because of that guy. I don't think I could forgive myself if something happens to him." She said.

[Shannon Rutherford]

"Winter, you won't loose him trust me."Shannon smiled softly at Winter."Wake up Craigy."She patted Craig's hand softly and then sat down watching the actions around her.

[Winter Scott]

She went back to resting her head on his chest and looking up at him. "I find my self wishing and hoping that he will wake up and look at me. You want to know something crazy Shannon I think I love him. I know I have known him for a while and we have been friends for a while to. I know we only started dating a few weeks ago but I am almost sure that I love him." She said smiling up at him hoping that he could hear what she was saying.

[Craig Dice]

Craig was listening to every word spoken by the girls in the room. Atleast they were talking, which was good. When his family had been in they'd sat in a stoney silence, whilst Craig had just had to listen to there muffeled sobs. What were they crying for? He was gonna be just fine at the end of all this.

Thanks, Winter. For everything! Your one of the only people to actually speak to me like Im here. Then he heard the other girls voice, and a sweet aroma she brought with her that seemed to travel to his bedside table. Thanks, whoever you are! So he was talking to himself, who wouldn't when your alone in a coma? Then he heard the conversation between Shannon and Winter. he'd do anything just to open his eyes and hug both of them right at that moment. Tell them he was fine.

[Winter Scott]

She sighed and continued resting her head on his chest. She felt a deep long feeling for Craig it felt like she was going crazy inside. Like seeing him like this was killing her inside. She knew it had to be love. She completely and truely loved Craig. He just hoped he would wake up so she could tell him that. "Baby I hope you can hear me I wish you would wake up so I can see the beautiful eyes that you have. The eyes that I love to look into. I am going to be right here when you do wake up I promise." She said.

The thumping feeling in Craig's head seemed to grow softer and softer until it had almost vanished. But the pain in his shoulder came more and more, like he was back in his own body again. Craig;s crystal eyes flickered open and he looked around the room. Blinking a few times until everything came back into vision. He tried to talk but nothing but splutters came out.

Winter had looked down but whens she looked back up she looked right into the goregous eyes of the man she loved. "Hey there" she said "its good to have to awake." She leaned up and kissed him on his forehead. She kissed his cheeks and then finally a light kiss to the lips.
