As Fel tiptoed up to the teachers lounge she found herself making dramatic spy-like moves, while humming the mission impossible theme song. Fel was on a mission, a mission worthy of any international spy! Ok maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but Fel figured since she was risking suspension she might as well have a little fun while she was at it.
Earlier that day, Fel had gone down to the computer lab to print off her paper for English class. While she was down there she had also taken one of those "we'll write your English paper for free" essays you can find online and put her name on it; Fel was going to use it as a joke on a friend. Printing off both papers Fel didn't realize she had slipped the obviously plagiarized paper into her English folder instead of her English paper. When English rolled around Fel proudly produced what she thought was the paper she had spent hours on last night. After English Fel rummaged through her bag looking for the fake paper to give to her friend, but to Fel's horror she only found her English paper. But wait if I have my english paper, than what does my teacher hav-oh my god!! Fel thought letting out a gasp as her hand went to cover her mouth so she didn't scream.
So Fel figured she had one option, and that was to steal the paper back. Now Creeping along the wall, Fel had switched over to the pink panther theme song only stopping when she heard footsteps. Fel had waited most of the afternoon for the Teachers Lounge to clear, not that it finally had Fel slipped in silent as a mouse. Wow the teachers had it good Fel thought as she looked around the enormous room, noticing the cookies sitting a table and deciding to swipe one. Fel started looking around the room for stacks of papers that looked essay-ish, but Fel hadn't gotten far when she heard footsteps right outside the Teachers Lounge! Fel froze, she was terrified and hiding didn't even cross her mind as her eyes were glued to the door very much in a deer-in-the-headlights like fashion, praying for the best....

So far, today wasn't as bad as Carmen had pictured it being. The tests she had written previously that week came back to her with flying colors. All being above the 80's she was on a roll. With the school year coming to its high point, and the counselors getting ready to hand out university applications, she had to make sure she got the grades she needed and had met all the requirements needed to get into the school she was looking at for second degree learning.
One slip up in the next couple of months and she would be out of the running to getting into law school. Sure she was a party girl, and didnt seem the type to make it all the way, getting fairly good grades, but this had been a goal of hers. When their parents had left them, Heather and Carmen had made pacts with eachother. They had gone over all the things they wanted to accomplished, things they wanted to achieve and things they wanted. They had secrets and ideas, plans an goals, and they were both determined to keep them. Not only to prove to themselves that they weren't as ditzy as the impression they gave off, but to prove to everyone that their only reputation wasnt to become hookers on the street.
Making her way through the upper hallways on the top floor of the school, Carmen had come across few people. A few she knew, others she never bothered to talk to. Some west siders and some east siders. What was she doing up here anyways? Well...Most people would guess she was out to make some trouble, perhaps rig a practical joke in the teachers lounge, but she was really only on a short walking during her spare class.
She had aquired most of her credits in her first three years of high school, which meant she had taken most of the required courses as well, so this year she only took the required classes, excluding her electives, leaving her with a five credit spare in each semester. Today was one of those day. A day where she could wander around the school, without giving into temtation and keeping herself out of trouble.
For the past ten minutes, she seemed to be the only one wandering the halls, but when she had seen Felicity wander into the teachers lounge, she figured she wasn't the only one with a reputation to get in trouble. Without thinking, and taking a quick glance around, she kept out of sight and watched Fel with a close eye. When she was in the lounge and Carmen still in the halls, she crept around the corner and tip toed over to the entrance. If Fel heard her she would most likely either find a spot to hide or split thinking it was a passing teacher coming for their coffee break.
Peeking around the corner, seeing as no other teachers and students had entered after Fel, she watched her movements, making sure to stay in the clear from Felicity's straying eyes. But as she bent around the corner to peek into the room, her hand slipped on the outside frame of the door, allowing the door to squeak as it moved into place and came to a stop. Carmen froze and hoped she haden't scared Felicity. She stayed where she was, holding her breathe and waited.

Felicity almost passed out, she couldn't take the suspense, the footsteps had stopped but someone was right outside the door! Won't they come in already, if I'm gonna get caught I just want to get it over with! Fel thought, feeling less nervous but more nervous at the same time. After what felt like hours of silent waiting by both parties, Fel gave in. Walking to the door she had resigned herself, she figured if she turned herself in now while she hadn't done anything too bad and admitted her mistake to whatever teacher was outside, she might a lessened punishment.
Swinging open the door Fel didn't even bother to look who was there she just began confessing, and rather quickly "ok, yes its true, I turned in a plagiarized paper I didn't mean to I have a real paper that I spent hours and hours on, but the paper I handed to the teacher got mixed up with the real one I was supposed to use, and now I'm screwed because you probably won't trust me when I say the online paper was just meant as a joke for a friend, and that I would never do anything so stupid or wrong, and now i've broken into the teachers lounge but I swear I haven't taken anything, well besides a cookie, I was just going to switch the papers so no harm would be done, I swear thats the whole truth and nothing but the truth and I realize you'll have to report this to the principle Ms. --Carmen?" Fel finally looked up taking a big gulp of air, than letting it back out in a slow thankful sigh. "Wholly c.rap Carmen you gave me the scare of a lifetime! I thought you were a teacher. Well, now I guess you know why I'm here, but what the h.ell are you doing here?" Fel asked trying to calm her nerves as she noticed she had been trembling. "And quick duck in here, if we get caught loitering around the Teachers Lounge we'll be in trouble." Fel said as she re-entered the teachers lounge and beckoned Carmen to follow.
((sorry, brain-dead))

Carmen jumped when Felicity popped out of the room, and started babbling about how she had stolen some fake essay and put it into the wrong folder. Her chatter was amusing and it was obvious Fel was in no state to notice that she wasn't even talking to a teacher. Through her whole little 'speech' Carmen had to keep herself from laughing hysterically at how out of it Fel was. She didn't know about her, but Carmen looked nothing! like a teacher, and anyone would agree with her. In fact, today Carmen was dressed in a pair of tight jeans, along with a lime green t-shirt and purple lulu lemon sweater. Not your normal teacher attire. Sure I guess she could have passed as one being tall and all, but it was hilarious to see that Fel hadn't even noticed at first glance that Carmen was in fact the one she was confessing to.
After what seemed like hours of explination, and many giggle fits, in between each part of the story, Fel stopped at the end of her speech finishing with a "Ms....Carmen?"
Trying to keep from laughing any more at her friend, Carmen held in her laughter, as she instead replaced beet red cheeks with a peachy grin, and folded her arms across her chest, "Wow Fel...I am REALLY! disappointed in you! I mean...I have to say, I thought you were smarter than that. You should be ashamed at yourself!" She exclaimed in a joking matter as she was pulled into the teachers lounge, "Like common! I thought I was bad...But noooo miss innocent Felicity Adagio, had to go and try to prank one of her friends!" Now, Carmen broke into hysterics, trying her absolute hardest not to run out of breathe from laughing. Fel might hate her for a few minutes for having scared her shitless, but she would get over it sooner or later.

Fel was now blushing quite a bright pink, how had she not noticed that she was talking to CARMEN?! Fel knew Carmen was only teasing but it wasn't helping the present situation as neither of them were in the clear yet. IN fact both of them were far from it, as they were conspiring in the teachers lounge and a teacher could walk in any minute! Felicity listened as patiently she could, and tried not to get too embarrassed, god Fel could just be so blonde sometimes!
"Innocent? Gosh who's spreading the nasty rumor I'm innocent?" Fel tried to joke a little. "Honestly I don't think i've ever been called innocent, notice how weird innocent Fel sounds. As a little kid I think my nickname was hmmm.....devil spawn, yes thats the one!" Felicity recalled absentmindedly as she scanned the room. "Ok but now that we've established I'm prone to get in trouble, lets try and escape it for once. Please help me, I HAVE to get this paper back or I'll be suspended or worse! Its on The Scarlet Letter, and it'll be really obvious, you've probably read it online, it has my name on it but thats a mistake. Look for it in a stack of Mr. Barbone's english papers. If you find it let me know I've got the real essay here with me and we'll just swap it and get out of here!" Fel told Carmen slightly desperate waving the real paper in her hand as she immediately started to scan the room again, hopefully without interruption.

"Oh right! That was me they were talking about!" Carmen laughed with a huge white toothed grin spread across her face. Carmen had never once tried to prank a friend by sending them a fake essay for english class, it was more of a 'natural' thing for her to get people in trouble. It sorta just...Happened! Crossing her arms and looking at Fel with a 'why-should-I' look on her face, she asked, "Now why should I help you get yourself out of this mess? I mean...This is quite funny if you ask me..." She smirked, knowing Fel would hate her if she didn't help her get out of this mess she was in.
Carmen was never one to do something without payback. If she did something to help a friend, such as in this matter, Carmen expected some sort of payment. This was again one of these situations, because if Carmen got caught, she would be in just as much trouble as Fel would. Like an accomplice you could say.
