Craig stared out of the window as she went to order. He noticed that the day had faded into the night. It was actually rather dark outside. Craig turned his attention back to Steph as she returned.
"Well, everyone else seems to have plans tonight except me!" He shrugged his shoulders slightly. "What about you? How come your not out meeting new friends tonight?"

"Well your not the only one!" Steph replied, taking a sip of her drink, "I would be out tonight...But most of my friday nights so far have been spent alone. The east siders aren't exactly friendly, and I've only met a few West siders. But they all seemed to have plans tonight as well. I dunno if you know Blake Turner...But I've known him for years, and even HE has plans tonight," She laughed, thinking about how Blake used to spend his evenings, "Pizza parlor I guess, just seemed a good idea at the time."

He nodded taking a sipp of his drink as she spoke. "Yea, Blakes a close friend, but he never mentioned he had a pretty friend moving to the valley! But yea, Im surprised he has plans too!" He winked at her playfully then added, "make sure you don't tell him that though!"

Steph held back the pink cheeks that were bound to come from his comment and replied with a smile rather, "Tell me something Mr. Dice....Do you give all girls blush worthy comments? Or is this the treatment the new girl gets? Like a one time offer type thing?" She asked this jokingly, wondering what he would say in reply, "I'll bet you any money your mafia boss hired you to show up whereever I happened to be. I mean...You show up to rescue me from being late for class, and now you show up to keep me company? I'm thinking coincedence but I could be wrong," She added taking a sip of her pepsi.

Craig grinned cheekily. "Well, well, well I guess all of what you just said is something you are going to have to find out for yourself!" He winked his crystal eye at her as the waitress swooped down with there order. Here you are chickens! Enjoy and I must say you two look very cute together! She then left and walked back into the kitchens. Craig raised an eyebrow at Steph.

Before the waitress came with their order she laughed, "I guess I'll have to do that then." When the waitress spoke up on the other hand Steph also looked at Craig with an eyebrow raised. Either they were both thinking, 'shes got to be crazy' or 'does she know were not a couple?' because they both gave the impression that they were shocked at her comment. Just to break the sudden awkward moment, Steph gave a slightly nervous laugh and bit her bottom lip, "Well then...Um...So shall we?" She asked referring to the pizza sitting in front of them.

Craig nodded not really that bothered by the comment, quite an easy comment to make really thinking about it. A guy and a girl sat opposite one another alone, sharing a pizza. "Hope you don't mind my fingers Steph!" He scooped up a slice and took a bight swirling the cheese, tomatoe, bread and peperoni down towards his stomache.

Steph laughed, "Well at least one of us didnt find that awkward...And nah, I don't mind the fingers, as long as you keep'em to your side of the pizza. Besides, its the only way you CAN eat pizza." She also picked up a slice and took a bite, letting it slide down her throat as she swallowed.

He finished the mouthful he ahd then began to speak, "Yea, I promise to keep to my own side and It was an easy mistake to make weren't it?" He smiled warmly and started on his second slice.

Now that she thought about it, it was. But who said the waitress thought they were a couple? Anyhoo, Stephy replied with a nod, "Yup...Simple mistake." She smiled and took another sip of her drink, taking a look around the parlor and out through the windows.
