Melodie stood on her father's balcony and looked out to see the lake. She smiled turning around entering the house. She said to her father she was going to lake and waved goodbye to him. She ran down the stairs and out the door.
Melodie ran to the lake. It didn't take as long as she thought to get to the lake. She stood at its shore. She looked out on the lake. She loved coming here. She was her sanctuary. She sat down letting her long black hair be blown by the wind. She kept her green eyes on the lake. She pulled on her red t-shirt that had a black swan on it. She didn't heard that someone was coming behind.
